The amazingly talented Elle from Living in Color Style and I are starting a weekly link-up every Thursday! We started a great blogging friendship after meeting through our blogs! We quickly realized we had so much in common with each other! We both love fashion, are fashion bloggers, teachers, and we even went to the same college! (Mizzou!) Small world!

We've decided to name our link-up "Spotlight Weekly" to 'spotlight' some of our favorite trends/styles as well as some of our favorite bloggers (a few of them might be teachers too! ;).  We would LOVE to have you link-up.

(Click after the break to link-up your STRIPES outfit or any fashion-related post!)

HOW TO LINK-UP:
1. We kindly ask that you follow the two hosts: Elle from Living in Color Style and Jacqueline from Stylin' In St. Louis via Bloglovin or GFC. (The first two links in the link-up.)

2. Use the button provided on Elle or Jacqueline's sidebar, or link back to the link-up on your blog.

3. Enjoy reading other blogs and make new blogger friends!

Lastly, remember that even though our theme is stripes this week, we welcome ALL fashion-related posts on this link-up!

SPOTLIGHT:
This week's Spotlight is Tara from Mix & Match Fashion!  Tara is a fellow teacher/blogger and Jacqueline and I both love how she styled this striped blazer with those pop of neon shorts!

NEXT WEEK: Next week our Spotlight Weekly theme is… SUMMER DRESSES! See you next Thursday :) Thank you so much for reading, and for linking up!

  19. Thank gawd I saw this post. I just bought that banana jacket on sale last saturday for $30! (It was originally $130 I think?). I wasn't really sure how to wear it, and it's also two sizes too small for me. So, I guess I can never really wear the jacket buttoned, but it was too cute and good of a deal to pass up! Definitely, going to use this as some inspiration. Love it!

    Have a great day!
