Easy Pumpkin French Toast…

On Sunday mornings my husband and I switch off who cooks breakfast. This is pretty much the only day of the week where we can be lazy and make a delicious breakfast. Since we had some cooler fall-like temps this past weekend, I thought it would be great to make something with pumpkin in it! This pumpkin french toast recipe is not only delicious, but super easy!
Have a great Wednesday!
xo,
Jacqueline

Pumpkin French Toast

Ingredients:
3/4 cup Pumpkin, canned
3 large eggs
1 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
8-10 slices Wheat bread (or whatever kind you like)
1/2 cup Skim Milk
 Sprinkle of Powdered Sugar (optional)
1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions:
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin, eggs, milk, and pumpkin pie spice until combined. You want your bowl to be large enough so that you can dip your bread.
2.  Melt butter over a large skillet on medium heat
3. Take you bread and dip it into egg mixture. Place the dipped bread onto skillet. Cook until the bread is golden brown on both sides. Makes (8-10) french toast slices.
4. Top with powdered sugar (optional)
